04 · Inside the plant

A full-scale plant, not a workshop.

Eight machine lines under one roof, from kiln to spray booth, with multiple presses, routers, jointing lines and saws running in parallel. Solid wood and engineered are cut, pressed, squared and finished on the same floor, so tolerance holds across an entire project.

What people ask about double doors.

What size is a standard double door? +
Most double main doors in Indian homes are 4 to 6 ft wide and 7 to 8 ft high. We make every double door to your opening, so any size works. Leaves are 44 mm thick as standard, and 50 mm when taller than 8 ft or wider than 3 ft.
Which wood is best for a main double door? +
Teak is the classic choice for main doors because its natural oils help it handle weather. Sheesham suits dark carved designs and white oak suits modern homes. For interior double doors, painted HDHMR is a good lower-cost option.
How much does a wooden double door cost? +
It depends on the size, the wood or board, the carving, glass, finish and frame. Every double door is quoted from your size and design, and we reply within 24 hours.
Can you make a double door from my photo or design? +
Yes. Send a photo, sketch or Pinterest pin. We draw it, you approve the drawing, and we make it to your opening.
Can a single door design be made as a double door? +
Yes. Most of our single door designs can be made as a double door. Send us the design code and your opening size, or browse 200+ door designs.
Do you supply the frame and architrave too? +
Yes. We can make the double door with a matching frame and architrave, or supply the door leaves on their own.
What is the difference between a double door and a mother and son door? +
A double door has two equal leaves. A mother and son door has one wide leaf for daily use and one narrow leaf that opens when you need the full width.
Is there a warranty? +
Yes. It covers materials and workmanship, and the terms are set out on your quote.
